Recognition

TalkAble (Communicative Hand Glove) was selected among Top 5 Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS) projects in India. We receives a Project Grant of $1350 for project implementation. We are now one among top EPICS projects in IEEE Region 10.

TalkAble (Communication Glove for Deaf and Dumb) has been awarded as a finalist in Indian Innovation Initiative - i3 2012 organised by Dept. of Science & Technology (DST) and Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), and was showcased in i3 National Fair held in New Delhi, India in Dec 2012. 

Kuldeep Singh Rajput and Shashank Deshpande were awarded Young Innovator (YI) - Next Practices Award 2012, held in conjuction with i3 National Fair. 

Techbazaar is the annual technical innovation competition of BITS Pilani. It provides a platform for talented innovators to showcase their ingenuity and use technology to solve the problems of masses which are commercially viable and thus foster the spirit of technology based entrepreneurship. TalkAble was awarded the Runners up's at the finals conducted in New Delhi.

Agastya aims at developing innovation and creativity among students from engineering colleges and nearby disadvantaged schools. They facilitate process of mentoring between engineering students and school students while they plan, design and make the models together. TalkAble was presented at Anveshana 2013 by school students who are involved with us in the project. They were trained on the technical aspects of the product as well as on the social causes related to hearing impaired. TalkAble won 3rd prize in this fair.

TalkAble has received a monetary grant from Center for Assistive Technologies, B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology in August 2012 to support the product and technology development process partially through funds.

TalkAble was selected as one of the ten finalists in "SRISHTI Innovation Exchange" conducted by ABVP India, held in Mangalore, India in Jarch 2013 and won the 3rd prize in the finals. TalkAble drew overwhelming response from audience at the exhibit, presentation and reception.
